The Juniata Valley Hornets (Alexandria, PA) basketball crushed the host West Branch Warriors (Morrisdale, PA), 68-21 in Thursday's league outing.
The Hornets (11-3) will now prepare for their outing against Moshannon Valley (Houtzdale, PA). The Black Knights/Damsels go into the Moshannon Valley outing with a 4-9 record. In their last outing, Moshannon Valley was trounced by Bellwood-Antis (Bellwood, PA), 74-29, in a league outing.
The Warriors now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Williamsburg for a Inter County outing on Monday, January 23. West Branch will clash with a Blue Pirates squad coming off a 54-39 league win over Mt. Union (Mt. Union, PA). The Blue Pirates record now stands at 9-3
