The Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils (Bellwood, PA) basketball knocked off the host Juniata Valley Hornets (Alexandria, PA), 53-42 in Tuesday's league test.
The Blue Devils (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Moshannon Valley (Houtzdale, PA). The Black Knights/Damsels go into the Moshannon Valley test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, Moshannon Valley went down by Claysburg-Kimmel (Claysburg, PA), 59-37, in a league test.
The Hornets now own a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to West Branch for a Moshannon Valley test on Thursday, January 19. Juniata Valley will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 43-40 non-league loss to Mt. Union (Mt. Union, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-9.
